About the Baker

Dina inherited her love of cake decorating from her mother, Sherry. Growing up, Sherry would make any type of decorated cake that her family wanted, no matter what occasion. When Dina's oldest son turned one, she was excited at the opportunity to carry on her mother's tradition for her own family. It wasn't too long before that skill extended to friends and now the community.

Dina lives in Southeast Denver with her husband and two sons. The family are members of Congregation Rodef Shalom. She has one son who works at Amazon and another son who attends Hult International Business School in London. Dina has been enjoying baking special treats for the community for over fifteen years.

About the Bakery

In 2002, BitterSweets Bakery opened in a small kosher kitchen. After years and rave reviews of Dina's desserts, the opportunity to expand came about. Now in a professional kitchen all desserts are prepared in either a kosher dairy or dairy-free kitchen depending on your needs.*

We want to be a creative force in the dessert business, providing products that up until now were difficult to find. Our dream is to provide tasty, beautiful, fun cakes and desserts for one and all. Because of this, our client list has grown to include not only the Jewish and non-Jewish communities, but several restaurants, caterers, corporate offices, country clubs, and wedding venues as well.

Our Promise

BitterSweets Bakery is proud of its reputation for excellence and we are committed to doing whatever it takes to satisfy our customers. We promise to provide the best quality desserts and sweets, with great attention to detail in design.
